Watch On Box

Macro photography isn’t easy. As I’ve probably written before, I do not have a macro lens for my camera; all I have is a magnifying glass. As it happens, I don’t have a studio either. This shot was taken by setting up a cardboard box so that the side of it was illuminated by my ceiling light (see next post). Then, using two pins, I pushed them through the holes in the watch strap and into the cardboard to secure the watch onto the box. Then, I put my camera on my tripod on the lowest height that it would go to. Finally, I held a magnifying glass before the camera and took the shot.
