Glowing Screen
I’ll give you some time to look at the photograph. Haven’t worked out how I took it yet? Okay, I’ll tell you. Years ago, I went to see a film in 3D and I got to keep the glasses. Turns out, they work because they are essentially a pair of polarising filters. A polarising filter blocks out the light coming off a LCD screen. However, it doesn’t filter out the light if something affects it, for example, if it passes through something made of plastic. So, I taped a CD, my camera stand and a pencil sharpener to the screen and photographed the abstractness.
