My journey had started on a plane and had ended on a plane. This shot was taken on the last night in Los Angeles as the plane was taking off the runway at the LAX airport. Because, we had a late night flight, I wanted to get the photograph taken quickly so that there would be something to photograph besides a black sky and without waking up the people sitting either side of me when I opened the window at dawn. In the shot are some other airplanes on the ground that had not yet taken off. Wherever they flew to, I hope the passengers had good flights.

LAX At Night
